If you want to get in touch, you can tweet me, send a message through Facebook, "ask" me on Tumblr, or email me at SeptemberCFawkes[at]gmail[dot]com. But out of all those methods, the best way to contact me is through email.

While I still take writing questions and suggestions for posts, it's getting harder for me to answer and address them, especially in a timely manner. But you if would like to send them to me, you can via Twitter, Facebook, email, or even in a comment. I'll add them to my "potential post" list and see if I can get to them.

If you would like to refer to my posts or articles on your podcast, in a classroom, a workshop, or conference, you can do that for free as long as you give me credit and link back to (or type if hard copy) my site. If you would like to repost them online, please only directly quote up to two paragraphs (with credit). Reposting more than that affects search engine results, making it difficult for new people to find my work. You may also reference my work in published books.

I do occasionally take guest posts, but of course, the content needs to suit my blog and audience. It needs to be something I can share in good conscience.

Any use of my content to "train" artificial intelligence (AI) is expressly prohibited.

  2. Hi there - I recently ran across your blog and am thoroughly enjoying your posts. I would be very interested in your take (at some point) on the info in either of these two story structure books: The six act story structure discussed in The Story Structure Secret by Marshall Dotson and/or Hero Goal Sequence as put forth in Story Solution by Eric Edson. Thanks again for making the time to share your thoughts via this blog :-)

    1. Thank you! I haven't studied those yet, so I'll be interested in looking at them. I have heard of the six act story structure. I'll be curious to see their approaches.
